Mix together household detergent and water.
  2. Soak
Soak entire area generously including surrounding area.
  3. Remove dried and crusted pieces.
Soak first! Softer the dried parts as much as possible and gently pull away from the fiber.
  4. Wash
Wash the stain away with a white cloth or paper towel.

Stains caused by ink or paint, paints that have pigment, are chemical based stains. There are stains caused by nail polish, markers, and pens.
